Big changes are a comin’ round here. “Here” being my personal/professional life, and this lovely website I call my own. Most importantly for you, dear reader, is the new name: Baker on the Run. Much as I loved being the Shameless Procrastibaker, the title didn’t account for all the marvelous things I plan to write about moving forward.
Yes! There will still be many posts about my adventures in baking. Never fear. But the plan is to expand the textual horizons to encompass more of the things that make life great… running, in particular. But also, traveling places and eating delicious sweets made by other folks!
So, rather than just being a repository of recipes, BakerOnTheRun.com will be a place to read about being a baker who also loves running. Or, to put it perhaps a bit more accurately, a runner (and traveler) who loves sweets.
There are a lot of baking blogs out there. And there are a lot of people writing about running. But I haven’t really stumbled on people who write about running in the context of a true devotion to all things sugary.
Most people who write about running are serious runners. They do crazy things like sprints and hill workouts and they care about going fast. They don’t usually write about how they ate double-ice cream after finishing a race (more on that to come). But that’s what I do. I run ’cause I love it, but also ’cause I love sweets.
That’s what I’ll be writing about here.
Things will be under construction for a little while. Please forgive the mess. I hope you’ll be happy with the end result.
