Escapades in Bread Baking, Part III: Deciding to Play

Many times in my life, I’ve been in friends’ kitchens, baking something together, and I’ll see them nonchalantly use the same measuring cup to add both the flour and the water to a batter… and a little voice inside me starts shouting, “No!!! You’re doing it wrong! How could you possibly use a dry ingredient cup to add a wet ingredient?! These awesome, power-packed breakfast muffins are made with almond flour/meal, oats, carrots, and zucchini — which means they’re gluten-free and healthy-ish without tasting like it. Digital Nomad Series: Home is Where Your Stuff Is… Unpacked

I’ve been itinerant (i.e. a digital nomad) for eleven and a half months now, or 348 days, to be precise (but who’s counting?). And, honestly, I’m kind of over it. I was kind of over it at the seven month mark, which is one of the various reasons I haven’t written much the past few months… tired and grumpy posting just didn’t seem terribly appealing to anyone.
