Ever since my epic search for root beer ingredients – which was ultimately disappointing – I’ve been determined to find a way to incorporate root beer flavoring into a dessert.
It might or might not surprise you that I find most frosting kind of gross. Buttercream is normally so packed with powdered sugar, I want to gag. But not this magical mystery fluff!
Oh my lord, this is delicious. And it happens to be vegan and paleo and gluten free and the best thing that happened to me this week. (Since I’m trying to limit processed sugar and dairy)
I made these fabulous intensities of chocolate for the first time a couple months ago but neglected to take pictures. Hence, y’all didn’t hear about it. But I knew just how rich and creamy and chocolatey and amazing they were, so after 30 days of NO SUGAR OF ANY KIND, this is how I wanted to re-enter the world of the living.
In my epic strawberry consumption efforts this week, I was debating between recipes for a buckle, a cobbler, and a crisp. While the crisp won out primarily on the criteria that I didn’t want to go to the store again (the other options required milk), I’m really glad this happened.
